These two have the best story. They have been dating since highschool and still have the spark. I have found that the toasts at a wedding are really telling to who the couple really are and who they have impacted. Let’s just say the toasts at this wedding made me tear up. It is clear that they are good at loving each other, and good at loving others. And that is an incredible combination.

I did a portrait shoot with these two lovebirds in San Diego last year. (see blog post here) Now they are engaged! We did the shoot in San Juan Capistrano on a warm evening, and the chemistry these two had made my job so easy. Such a cute couple!

When Lauren contacted me, she already knew exactly where she wanted her engagement shoot. This beautiful open space in the Northern California rolling hills couldn’t have been a more perfect location. Lauren often hikes here, so she knows the area like the back of her hand and I had a great time roaming these hills to get these shots.

Oregon, warpaint, a foggy morning, a forest, a vintage American Flag, and my rad friend Ashley dressed like a Native American. How can that combination NOT end in a rad photoshoot? This was definitely to date one of my favorite shoots I have ever done. There were several elements that I have always thought would be rad to have involved in a shoot, like the American Flag. (Which Ashley and I actually found several months earlier in a warehouse in Compton, CA. Random? Yes. Awesome? Also yes.)

I love this girl. She is so full of life. Thanks Ashley for allowing one of my photoshoot dreams come true.

Liam is a friend of my brothers, and he is graduating Highschool! We went to Hap Mcgee, a place my brothers showed me. (You can check out the first time I went there here.) He is really into boarding a biking, so we brought his board and his bike with us for several of the photos. Congrats Liam!

I had so much fun roaming the Walnut Creek Open Space with Kira. She is such a life-filled girl. She was such a good sport as we wandered through the (slightly muddy) trails on Mt. Diablo and was fine laying down in clover fields for some rad shots. She is so photogenic, she made my job so easy.

One of my best friends Marisa graduated from USF in December! I am so proud of her. She wanted to do a graduation shoot, so we went into San Francisco for it, she knew of this rad little park in the middle of the city. I absolutely love this girl, isn’t she beautiful?

Succulent Garden

Rachel + Jeremy-2012

Rachel and Jeremy are so creative. When we met up to sign the contract she was explaining some of her many ideas for her wedding, and I loved seeing all of it come together on her wedding day even better than I imagined. If there ever was a pinterest wedding this was it. I loved shooting this sweet couples big day. Congrats guys!

Alex + Nicole

My good friends Nicole and Alex got hitched! I was so stoked when they asked me to be their photographer, I knew that this wedding would be rad, and it definitely was. They got married at a coffee shop called Night Owl in Fullerton, CA. 12 groomsmen and 6 bridesmaids. To date, both the most difficult-to-shoot award and the most-epic award goes to this group of guys who made up all the groomsmen. They are all really close and have been for years. So they are all comfortable with each other, they are crazy, they are great. Great wedding, great people. Espositos and clan, I love you guys.
